The Posture & functional Agilty program has 3 objectives:

  • Reharmonize muscle tensions: balance the body using individually tailored stretching and muscle activation of the structural 'guy-wire' of your body.

  • Increase functional strength: become stronger while training movements relevant to your everyday well being and ability to move.

  • Broaden your movement horizons: enjoy the thrill and gain self esteem by mastering new and exciting ways of moving your body.

Schedule, pricing, policies... (summer / fall 2010)

  • First Step: Posture and Movement Analysis

    1) Quick Analysis: if you are relatively confident in your abilities and wish to try out a course before signing up, arrive 30 min in advance for a quick evaluation.

    2) Complete Analysis (recommended for those over 30 years of age): for those interested in beginning their training with a full awareness of the origin of their weaknesses and tensions.

Second Step: Group Courses or Private Training

    Group Courses

    POSTURE / FLEXIBILITY

"Reharmonising the body with specific stretching and muscle activation"

This is a group course, which is essentially a private training session... We all have tensions at different places in our bodies, which are limiting in very specific ways. The stretching and \\\'muscle activation\\\' you perform is tailored to an initial evaluation of your strengths and weaknesses (based principally on GDS Muscle Chains and Muscle Activation Techniques theories). Examples of the types of exercises: numerous stretches; precise, low intensity contractions to \\\'re-animate\\\' dormant muscles; balance work on unstable planes; deep back muscle stimulation; rythmic movements and lots of games!

    • Duration : 1 h 25 min
